What did you do with your 4runner today?

My suspension squeeked too before I sold mine! I could never figure out what it was.

My rear suspension did because I bent the rear locator bar mount, so when the axle moved, it would rub against the bar. It had me stumped for months! I found that entire corner bent over, then I bent it back.

Put on my new bilstein struts. Ground down the upper control arm with my new Bosch grinder. And painted my calipers red.
Also put red shock boots on as we'll. my son liked them.

Why did you have to grind the UCA?

I wish I could paint my calipers... But I'm replacing them every year, so it's not worth the effort

Cause there was a little tab sticking and would rub on the coils before when drooped, so I just smoothed it out, it's not technically the UCA I guess it's called the knuckle, it holds the upper ball joint.

Ah I see!

And most 4th gens have issues with calipers seizing. Got some autozone calipers that have a lifetime warranty, so I just have to swap calipers when my brakes start having issues.

Thanks. They are just some brackets I had made then just added a cross piece. I had taken it off because they tend to vibrate while diving.

I am going to talk to Paul, with Defiant Light Bars, some more about maybe modifying his design to make them sit lower like this

Looks sharp ! I'm definitely a Satoshi fan especially with color matched grilles.

You can use Rustoleum flat black to just hit the objects behind the grille to make them disappear.

Nice job.
