What did you do with your 4runner today?

Edit: one of the things I didn't like about Cargly was that it didn't have a web interface. I have 2x21" monitors. Sometimes I like using them rather than a 4.3" screen. I'll still try it, but that's a lot of information for a phone-only app.

Now Momo.. I know you're a mod on here, and have given tons of good info to a lot of people, including myself... And I respect the heck outa you, but.. But... Lol

First, I coulda sworn you had 265-70 BFG Rugged Terrains, but I must be wrong on the size (I'll admit I must be wrong there). But - you do have a pretty big lift - right? I think I need to hit the BS button on those mpgs..! Lol. And you have an 03 before vvt, which I would think would lower the gas mileage.

Are these numbers off of the computer? Or calculated? Something seems awry there is all I'm saying.

I could be wrong here and sorry that I'm "pushing back" but before I did any mods, even in a highway trip where I kept it at 60, I don't think I got those numbers.

Yep, 265/65 18 Rugged Terrains and I swear to those numbers. I am sure it being 2WD might have something to do with it. I do use Seafoam in my tank every couple of tanks, so i know that has helped a little. I also guess just taking care of my truck helps it run well too. I am not sure what else it could be. Of course if i drive it like i stole it, i can watch the gas gauge drop. You guys are more than welcome to come hang out for a week and ride along. I have plenty of stuff you could help me with around the house.....:thumb3:

Yesterday I was all set to regrease and reclamp my inner CV joints. I cleaned them off really good, only to discover that the original clamps were still fairly intact under all that dried grease. :tsk:

After a more careful inspection, I discovered that the passenger side boot is in fact torn. Guess where?

...Yup. Right after the small clamp.

The driver side boot seems to still be okay, I couldn't find a crack at all. The clamp is pretty loose, though. When I squeezed the boot, water began dripping out...

So I ordered new CV axles for both sides. I was going to go with OEM, but I decided to save a little money and got the Cardone axles instead. Then, while I was shopping, I spent the money that I just saved on something that I said I wasn't going to do just yet.

My birthday is May 4th, so I got myself a little present... but it's backordered.

That's all I'm saying right now...

Yeah lady, tailgating my lifted 4Runner with your Honda Civic is really intimidating...

I've seen a Chevy pick up with a SHATTERED front end due to smashing into the back of a 4runner a few weeks ago. The 4runner was only in need of a new hatch. So I don't worry about others riding my tail. Doesn't happen often anyhow because I try to drive ahead of everyone one here in Denver to avoid being hit by others. This place has the worst drivers I have even been around! Passed up 3 wrecks not even an hour ago on my way home from work!

I'd love to come down and help out. I'm quite proud of the fact that I can actually fit 3 cars into a 3-car garage with the amount of crap I have, and my wife hasn't hit any of it!
