What did you do with your 4runner today?

I dont have an answer for that. This was a auctioned vehicle and all I have done so far is wash it.

The driver side will be removed too. I did that to my Limited

Looking at the coliovers there seems to be a lot more lift available, the adjustment seems to be at a third of the available. Just guessing, I have not had the 4Runner to really know much about it. I will be getting intement with it when I put the plates and sliders on it that I took off my 2003 Limited

The amount of lift feels the same as I had on the Limited and that was 2 5/8 inches.
 
Cut off my resonator today to see how my exhaust should really sound. Idle it's perfect but I'm not sure how I feel about the sound while driving. The funny thing about cutting it off today is I got to compare the sound to a 5.7 tundra with an exhaust setup. Was pretty dang close in pitch imo. Clearly his was a little deeper though. It was a stroke of luck that we got to do 4 take off runs side by side. Hahaha

Oh I see. I am planning on getting the Revtek 3" kit for mine. Hoping it will make me happy.

This was my first totaled vehicle and my first "at fault" in 30 years. Guess you are never to old to learn new experiences.

I had Daystar on my 03 Limited because I wanted to keep the XREAS shocks. The Daystar worked real well.
Good luck with your lift, there are a lot of ways to go.

Well according to the "LAW" you were at fault , so no , sorry people that don't pay attention , then it's to late . Coulda gone another 30 without that happening !! Damn shame the other 4r was a total !

$100 sounds like a lot for labor but it's very tedious to make it look good.

I could do it for a lot less if you could deal w the gaps not being fiberglassed and bondo'ed and don't want it color matched. Maybe $120 or less total.

Only for '06-09s grilles though, 03-05 is a lot more work and I still haven't taken on a second one. Then I have a line of about 4-6 people waiting on me to get around to it.

Replaced the AutoZone battery with a massive capacity Diehard Platinum Marine battery. This it the mother of all batteries. And yes, it fits...barely. I had to reroute a few cables. The stock battery holder does work with this.

I opted to do this instead of the dual battery setup. I can run my ARB fridge all night and the truck will start the next morning.

is the OEM battery tie down a complete ***** or am i just that incompetent? I had a mother of a time getting it all back on.

The first time I ever dealt with it (when I installed the AutoZone battery), I thought it was a pain. This time around it was much smoother cuz I knew how it worked. Plus I did it in daylight this time...big gain over the late night emergency install I did previously.

oh man, i moved it to get more room to swap out my UCAs this weekend and spent more time on the back bracket than the UCAs. I let the expletives fly.
