I installed my Light Racing Spec Ride Update kit... now I'm up to the current design and no longer need to worry about those bushings. The entire process (wheels-up to wheels-down) only took an hour and 45 minutes by myself. It was a straight-forward swap and I didn't need to separate the ball-joint. I may be imagining it, but I think the front end is a bit smoother now.

You have the third gen UCA I believe. I would update before it cracks and you get stranded. SPC will send you the stuff for free.

I'd call them... great customer service! I called last Friday morning and my Update Kit was sent out that same day for free. The new design uses longer sleeves inside the bushings and eliminates the need for the inner washers. You only use two of the large washers... one on the outside of each bushing.

It's a little squishy but not terribly noticeable unless you take a sharp off ramp at a good speed.

Had a lot of fun seeing all the old Datsun's and some cool old bikes and stuff.

There was an imported fj60 I think. It was diesel and left-hand drive.

Then this guy. All original Toyota Pickup 4x4. The guy bought it from someone in CA

Then us of course, 3 shiny mall crawlers

Little kids liked our "monster trucks"

Its on the back burner... I detailed in the last post the results of the first prototype. Conceptually it works perfectly, the issue was that since a suspension is a dynamically changing area I couldn't get completely accurate measurements for the swaybar. So during the fabrication of the disconnecting portion a lot of small tolerances added up to create a binding issue on the removable section making it extremely difficult to get off, it also was contacting the spring too much for my liking and causing a bit of binding.

The idea works, and its a viable option (which we already knew since my design was based off a similar working design), I just need to tweak the design some more, and/or look at an alternative design that I can control quality on better... But the reality is that takes some money and more importantly effort on my part, which is not to say I am lazy. But I have a lot of personal issues in my life that have all but drained the motivation to do much of anything these days (I haven't been anywhere but work with the 4Runner since January...) and so its on hold.

They look kinda like the 12 point heads on here, no metric sizes though.
