Once the rubber is stretched, theres a gap, the carwash blew off one of my roof weather strip. Lucky, the carwash guy keep it and told me it can cost $60 OEM, prompting me to glue all the rubbers on the roof, specially those weather strips in between the roof rail stands.

sooo today i got my new 0awg wire to run my big 3 upgrade. while trying to map out how to run the wires, i took off my skid plate and found out that my oil filter still has baked on dirt......i got my truck serviced about a month ago and i didn't even go rolling in the dirt.....what the hell...... sigh... i hope my baby is ok....



on a good note these came in the mail yesterday!!!!!! front and rear!! IM GANNA GO DEAF MAAAA!

WOW, I would take the filter back to the place that didnt service your vehicle. Oh, and bring a paramedic with you.

the most depressing thing, this happened at the dealership.....sometimes warranties suck

Scheduled an appointment for an alignment at a local Firestone! After being parked in the garage for two weeks, I'll finally get to drive it with my Toytec Ultimate lift!

That is worse

I had a noise I could not figure out. Suspected front wheel bearing but I couldnt pin point it. I took it to the dealer and it was the wheel bearing. I let them repair it. After they were done they took me back so the mechanic could show me where both of my front axels were leaking.

Funny thing that they were not leaking before I went there.

That was the last time I let the dealer put my vehicle in their shop and now I know how to replace front axels.

It is that kind of service that taught me to turn wrenches 40 years ago. I thought things had improved and at my age I would pay to have things done. I was wrong.

Scheduled an appointment for an alignment at a local Firestone! After being parked in the garage for two weeks, I'll finally get to drive it with my Toytec Ultimate lift!

Nice, when I was up there I couldn't get past the obstacle since there was a 1st Gen stuck on it. LOL.

Haha, I saw that pic! There's always next time. It's somewhat figured out. I need to grease my uca's again and take a look at the joints. I need to figure it out before I run Dear Valley with Eric, Jerry and the TW gang in a few weeks!! :lookout:

Incredibly, I've only washed her 2 times this summer. I deserve to be shot......... repeatedly.

I call this a "stage II" wash.

Stage II (about 2 hours)
1) wash with Meguiars Ultimate wash and wax
2) vacuum all interior
3) clean/condition leather
4) clean/protectant dash/interior
5) shine tires/inside wheel wells/engine plastic
6) clean windows inside and out

Cleaned the interior and vacuumed up a solid inch of dirt from the past 5 months. It's been a dry dusty summer!

StageIII (in addition to II, 4 hours approx)
1) Wax (cleaner wax)entire truck (inside all door jams/hood/tail gate/sunroof)
2) Shampoo all carpets
3) drink beer

Stage IV (5 + hours)
1) 3 step wax (cleaner/polish/wax) instead of cleaner wax
2) more beer

Stage I (45min-1hr)
1) Wash/dry truck
2) Apply Protectant to dash/door plastic/interior
3) Armor All tires
4) drink something cool (lemonaide/gatoraid)

of course I'm making up as I go along, but it makes sense, hahahahhaah. I had a detailing business (summer months) when I was younger. :biggrin2:

Drove her to Kirkwood for a wedding. I'm rethinking my rear coil setup, the Superflex coils can't haul that much. I had around 140lbs of clothes, cooler and normal gear(straps, compressor, hitches, etc.) and I could definitely feel the weight. It wasn't anything to be concerned about but i might switch too either OME 896's, a 1" rear spacer or AP 3.5" coils(better dep. angle!).
