What did you do with your 4runner today?

Well, my work truck got hit and can't operate until fixed, and have time now.

Yesterday, decided to put my street tires back on yes, HT tires and rims, yes stock size, yes why you down sizing I know, :bash:
Since I was in there, decided to check on the torque of my uca bolts and add Loctite to them as the upper one has been noted of backing off, and since I have the adjustable ball joint ones, Loctite them also, re torqued.

Have the tire off, check the spacers also.

Been having on occasion, while starting, the rear wiper doing it's wipe thing for the last 3 months. Better just take care of that problem. Sears had a saleand stopped, so got ahold of them on line and they honored the $231 sale. Whoo hooo.

So I picked this one up as suggested by many others on this site with all the extras I have like them.

I know there's nothing wrong with it, but, there 1.5" smaller than my MT'S I run.

Just need to get the last 10-15k out of them and I can up grade in size of HT'S

Muteki makes pink lug nuts, problem is they come in packs of 20 and you need 24, but I'm sure you could figure something out

Yep I was going to suggest that, they also have pink wheel lock sets of 4

Fell in love with my '06 again this morning! 0530, pitch dark outside, driving rain. Bridge on my country road was piled about 3.5 feet high with debris from flash flooding. A lady was trying to clear some of it with a shovel so she could get through in her Chevy pick up. I told her I was going for it...put the 4R in 4wd and crawled right over the logs and sticks like nothing was there. She laughed and kept shoveling the (now somewhat compressed) pile of debris. Damn thing gets me to work on time, every time

For the time being, yes. I've wheeled on HT's before problem free. Not what I would like to do, but whatever... I'll get a second set of wheels and tires when time and money allows

When you do the lifts on these, it doesn't really look like it did much until you put your self next to a stock one.

BTW... nice looking runner there.

Since I'm not able to go back to work due to trucks in the shop, and have time to kill and do these cheap mods to reinforce areas that take a lot of damage, and really can't afford to buy beefed up parts. Got busy with my skills and some scrap steel laying around.

One of my adventures I bent my rear LCA, so had a spare to start out with.








Will do the other tomorrow. See if this helps against them giant bolders out there.
