What did you do with your 4runner today?

Replaced both front calipers along with rotors and pads. Then changed the front sway bar bushings. No more rattles over bumps, love it.

Today was my 2 year anniversary with my 4Runner. How does it react to that? It wouldn't start this morning and I had to have my sister drive me into work :redbrick:

Luckily it ended up just being a loose negative battery terminal but still! First time it ever left me stranded!

It was yesterday but swapped in the Diehard Platinum PM1. with a small bend on the oem terminals and new j hooks it fit perfectly.

nice. this will do for a little but LOL. will the other one fit to match this one for a dual setup?

This is the longest I've had any vehicle too. And by far my favorite! My first car (RAV4) I had for a little over a year, and my old 4Runner got totaled after I owned it for a little over a year as well.

I've honestly lost count of how many times my negative terminal has come off. I'm running 1/0 welding cable on the big 3 so there is some pressure on the terminal but I can't bolt it on any tighter without snapping it.

The other one fits like a glove. Just about got a hernia lifting that damn pm1 in there. Just need to wrap up the install wiring. Sick of looking at the pile of electrical parts waiting to get plugged in but haven't had any time to make the battery cables.

The golds are a much different battery. They are just your average Johnson Control battery. The platinum is a a AGM by Enersys/Oddysee. Personally I would by something from East Penn if you get get a Enerysys/Odysee.

Sorry to hear. Mine did this all the time the first year I owned it. A little sanding (terminal and lead) solves this problem!

I've had mine four years, and today I put on 285/70/17s!
