Excellent. I was looking at some of the surface mount marine lights that I could mount into the rear bumper.

I got this so I can see better with the backup camera and so that I have something DOT approved

I cant tell a difference. Some people say you can but i cant and my gf hasnt said anything about it being loud so if it made any difference it's little

Tried to install my toytec/eibach front coilovers and failed. Did everything on here--->OME Suspension Install on 4Runner - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum. just couldn't get the tie rod to disconnect from the spindle to remove the oem coilover. But anyway, i got my spidertrax installed all around.

The best tool for this job is a ~3lb hand maul. Once you have loosened up the castle nut and backed it off a couple turns, just give the steering knuckle a couple of controlled whacks (right over the tie rod end) and the tie rod end will drop right out; no other tools required. You can't help but smile when you see this happen.

Don't disconnect the tie rod. Take the bolts(2 of them) loose from the mount holding it to the spindle. It's much easier.

So you're saying ruin your alignment and create a potential for your tie rod end to come loose over time instead of undoing 1 bolt that has a cotter pin through it the way you're supposed to when doing coil-over work?

I'm with Jdkilroy. We had a blast installing our lifts together. Universal persuasion devices came in handy!
