How many miles are on your truck? Did you do anything abnormally hard on the transmission while off roading?

I could easily see the transmission overheating in a low speed situation like wheeling. Especially given there is no factory gauge for trans temp and the cooler can quickly clog with mud. Of course I don't think I have to explain that to anyone on here.

In that case the dummy light should've come on though. TheJosh on 120 has had his come on a couple times while wheeling.

A tranny cooler won't do you a whole lot of good wheeling at low speeds since it needs airflow to be effective.

It says a/t temp or something. Look at all the lights that come on when you start it and its there in red.
Installed my pioneer avhp4400bh. Sans a surround bezel, stupid metro kit is way too big. Which one do I need for my limited?
I pulled my nav DVD player and placed the XM unit there.
Which unit did you have before? I know several people have used the trim ring from the urban runner...not sure if it will work on the jbl radio opening though..does the cage clip in fine and everything?
There were several threads started about the radio trim a while back, this is the only one I could dig up using tapatalk. I'll search again and see if I can find the others..

Ps the Goodyear Kevlar tires kick but in snow. I was really amazed how well they did.

Oh! That didn't come on. Just check engine with VSC OFF, TRAC OFF, and the "skid/loss of traction" light.

That looks like a LOT of fun. You might want to clear out your grill, don't think it would be an issue @ that temp, but the engine may overheat>!?<

I figured it out shortly after I posted. Thank you.
I need the small side pieces not the full surround. Otherwise everything else went great on install.

Weird. You didn't overheat your tranny then unless for some reason that light isn't working. I find it hard to believe you had a tranny failure at 51k. These are supposed to be pretty stout transmissions. Keep us posted.

The transmission may have gone into limp mode, judging by the pics they played in a lot of standing water. I am going to go on a limb and say a sensor went out and threw the transmission into limp mode.
I had this happen many times in my Chevrolet...
