What did you do with your 4runner today?

The transmission may have gone into limp mode, judging by the pics they played in a lot of standing water. I am going to go on a limb and say a sensor went out and through the transmission into limp mode.

I had this happen many times in my Chevrolet...

I said this yesterday too, thought it could have been a sensor. Especially since you were just racing me on that trail right before we hit pavement haha

Error code is for a sensor. Pressure sensor solenoid B in the transmission. All I know is I can't drive it

Pressure control solenoid, so the transmission sensed and error in line pressure or the value it was receiving from the sensor. Kicked it into limp mode...that's my verdict

Water sucked into the actual transmission? You didn't check your fluids?

Changed the original spark plugs that had 113xxx miles on them. Was getting 19mpgs in the v6.

Very easy diy service.

Did an oil change (0-30 Mobil 1 and K&N filter), put a Fumoto quick valve in and safety wired with zip tie. Mounted Hellas.

It was on the side of the road, getting dark and I'm 300 miles from home. In the sticks of NJ near the pines, there was no way to get gear oil. Oh well.

BFG A/T tires...

Alright so this is a question for anybody who knows it, but I just got my 2004 Sr5 T4R a month ago, and pretty much everything is stock. I know the tires are 265/65 R17 BFG long Trails currently, but personally they look like wimpy pieces of crap. I see that a lot of people on here have BFG All Terrain KOs on their stock rims, and I wanted to do that but it says that they wont fit my vehicle? Why is this and how can I fix it?:ybrick:

Maybe they arent sold in a 265/65r17 size? See if a 265/70 is available and do a small lift.

Looks like me too, I drop it off in the AM. Threw a CE light and VSC lit up too. It will not shift above 2nd....
