yesterday, put some HID bulbs in, and woow, talk about a difference lol.
today, gave her a bath lol

removed 3" wheel spacer, and added 1.5" rear spacer, no more ass sagging, FTW!!!

I added a Sony XAV-601BT head unit. I have the JBL with RDS and searched ebay for "4runner 961 radio kit". The trim kit fits well. The ISO mounts take some time to align properly, although I wish I could use the stock metal brackets with this trim. The deck itself is a bit quirky, but for $350CAD I can't find anything better. I used the PAC TATO, and PAC SWI-PS. Took a few minutes to get the SWI working, careful reading is key.

I burned out 3 bulbs in the process somehow. I have a few on order from superbrightleds.com

Finished swapping in all my MB Quart components last night. I was waiting for a set of rear adapters since the brackets that I bought off ebay didn't work. I ran everything off the stock wiring for now because the night we were supposed to install my amp and fish speaker wires through the door, my buddy who was there to help dropped a chrome rim on his toe and almost broke it. Speakers still sound great on the stock wiring, can't wait to hook them up to a real amp and some crossovers

Another update...

Today I got my truck back after getting matte jet black SCS Stealth 6 wheels mounted on 265 65 17 Cooper Discoverer AT3's

I am going to take better photos this weekend but these wheels are absolutely top notch and the tires so far are great.

Got my 06+ headlights, waiting on the bumper fillers and then on to the install

The only things one of my headlights has gray plastic in the back of the headlight and the other has black. It probably don't metter, but is there a paint or spray paint i can use to make it the same?

I finally adjusted my "medic end links"... I had them way too long and they would hit the LCA if I did any flexing. And I drove the 4Runner for the first time in 9 weeks! I've missed it!

Picked up a set of Michelin LTX M/S2s for Froig. Hopefully I will get them mounted and thrown on in the next couple days. Forgot to order an idler pulley.

Today I did a remote start and I am working on servicing the front and rear diff's with some Mobil1. I also did an oil change with the extended protection Mobile one. I'm not sure how I feel about going 15k on a single change but we will see how it looks when it comes out.

Found some fine metal shaving in the front and rear diffs should I be worried? It didint seem too bad for 115k.

Transfer case tomorrow when I get more Mobile1.

Shavings are normal in the diffs. Clean them off and put the magnet in the bottom hole.

How much was this? Also, is there some shocks out there that can give my 4Runner a SOFT comfy ride. I'm getting too old for the XREAS its bone jarring at times. Especially when on the highway at 70mph.

Pulled a neighbor out of my grandfather's yard. Apparently she had been stuck there since since yesterday morning and wasn't expecting help until Monday... Good thing someone keeps a tow strap in the tool kit.

You can get them from Allpro. Fronts new run $1200-ish, rear shocks are $600, rear springs another $160. I was lucky and found a used front set, just rebuilt them.

I wouldn't call it comfy.. But very smooth. I feel it is smoother than xreas. I have run OME, bilstein 5100 and bilstein hd with spacers.

I thought the bilstein 5100 with stock springs was soft and smooth, OME shocks with 885/895 was a little rough on road, very controlled offroad with a load. Bilstein hd with spacers (stock springs) was pretty soft too.

Did gauges and then created a custom mount, wired, and installed my buddy's Blitz Pro 15 light bar on his Tacoma.
