What did you do with your 4runner today?

What did I do today? I took my 4Runner off road and played in the grass and mud! i found a high tension wire right of way that wasn't blocked or posted (unusual around here), so I popped into 4WD and put on a couple of miles going over hill and dale, in 4-hi and 4-lo. with center diff locked to increase lubrication, etc., per the owner's manual. Came across some muddy stretches and nervously went through them, thankfully without incident. I'm running Geolander H/T-S tires - basically street tires, not even all terrains - but had no problem. Finally went home and now I'm very pleased with myself and as mellow as a wet noodle.

Did the same thing the other day, Vic. It's a lot of fun!

I used to kick ass with my Bridgestone Duelers. I could keep up/surpass people with KM2's and terra grapplers! Such a great feeling!
 
went online looking for volt gauges. anyone have ideas or thoughts on putting a volt guage in the blank for the older 4th gen rear window switch?

Wait. I want to hear about the off-road test too, but for now, please tell me about road noise at highway speeds. Good? Bad? So-so? I have the H/T-S Geolanders, and really can't decide what to buy when they wear out.

Don't waste your time with the Duelers HT or AT Revo2's I've had both and they suck. Only thing good I can say about the Duelers is they probably would have lasted 60,000 miles if I didn't destroy them doing a massive burnout when I switched to KM2's.

I had a road tire. The Bridgestone Dueler H/T 840. Great street tires! In fact I still have them. Don't buy them for off road.

I got some Hankook Dynapros and I really like them. No change in MPG and the grip is much better

Change waitmy brake pads about half hour ago, took the ebc green stuff 6000s and put in the yellow stuff front and back, braking power restored, it was time for a pad change, really worn those alot.nf dor stoptwch stainless steel lines so i have more feel.

It is ome 884/bilstein 5100 on .85 up front then all pro 3.5 springs with tacoma/tundra extended 5100

Plus 1.5 body lift
