Had my Pioneer Avic HU transferred over from my Tundra using a 95-8210 trim piece. Perfect fit, looks close to factory the way the unit sits flush at the top and recessed at the bottom:

Haha just can't do it. Gotta paint the whole thing and put the badge on. I really need to paint it since I added chrome 3M strip around the border of the mesh to hide the gap. Can't wait to see it when it's done and on the truck!

06+ headlight swap

i changed the headlights on my 05 4runner to 06+ headlights. I think this is first pacific blue metallic 4runner with 06+ face lift. I had to paint the bumper filler, because toyota stop making my color in 05 and the 06+ bumper fillers did not come in my color. But the final work looks good. Hopefully the grille mess is gonna be here soon and i finish satoshi mod.

Thanks guys! Alex, looks good! What temperature are your HIDs? I have 6000k in my low beams and 6000K is going into the fog lights as soon as they get here.

Just upgraded tires to 265/70/17 with FJC wheels. The truck feels taller during the test drive and needs to get use to the breaking distance and speed difference.

Mike it is 8K in headlights and fog lights.

Higher the Kelvin the lower the lumens

8000k HID's have less light output than good halogens.
