Went snow wheeling for the first time today. Holy crap I do NOT like it with ice. I had issues getting up quite a few hills. Ended up sideways twice and required a tow out.

I took down a tree with my stock bumper! Only a little crack! I'm impressed.

It got better when I set my tires to 12
psi and I bombed up a couple hills

I'm the same way man. When I got my license at 17, I was into gunning it and speeding. Now I drive like an old lady.

In 1976 I drove from Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma Arizona to my home in Phoenix Arizona, 198 miles in 2 hours. It was a truck route, I had a CB and knew most of the truckers on the road. That took care of my itch for speed. Shortley after that I traded my 1970 Cougar for a Ford 150 4X4. Been getting off highway ever since.

Wait. I want to hear about the off-road test too, but for now, please tell me about road noise at highway speeds. Good? Bad? So-so? I have the H/T-S Geolanders, and really can't decide what to buy when they wear out.

Road noise is pretty much non-existent. Nothing like the Nitto Terra Grapplers I had on my old Z71 Tahoe.

Driving all over my farm on trails the tires have yet to let me down, even a couple of small creek crossings with some mud (less than 1 foot of water, my 4R is pretty tame ya know).

Took it up the roughest section on any of the trails out there a couple weeks ago and it did very well on an incline with some small rocks thrown in. I'll try to snap a picture or two next time I'm out there (or have someone else take one while I'm driving it).

By no means would I call it a "trail" tire...but if you drive on-road 95% of the time and occasionally go off-road I think it will serve you well.

Replaced my Bridgestone AT Revo 2's with 265-65-17 Michelin LTX AT 2's. I liked the Revo 2's a lot but they barely lasted 40,000 miles so hope the Michelins last longer.
