Your avatar fits perfectly after reading this sentence.
I could probably squeeze a spring compressor in there with it on the truck. Just didn't know how that seat worked. I've had coil overs on a previous car, but these are different having 3 preset settings. Wasn't sure how it stays on the setting you put I on. As far as adding a spacer, it should be fairly easy and not require you to completely remove the strut. Just unbolt it up top and allow it to drop. May have to unbolt those two lower bolts on the tie rod mount to allow enough drop.

Catalytic converter was stolen last night. So I got a whole new exhaust with a Magnaflow installed. Gotta look on the bright side

Yep. Have fj springs. Put them on last year. I'm a little on the mechanical side. Actually had to take the front apart twice due to replacing ball joint boots. I find it pretty simple. Hardest part was doing it all on the truck because of xreas.

The 1GR-FE definitely has the capability, and it's nice to have extra power. Plus I love the sound. No need for the sarcastic response
Mine didnt just drop down that easy even after we undid those 2 bolts... We actually had to do a bit of prying to get the shock back in...
I used a 3 ft long jack handle to pry the lower arm down. The serrated end of the handle decided to eat the boots and I didn't realize it until I was done and putting it back together. :banghead:$50 nasty mistake learned the hard way. The grease in the ball joints is pretty nasty and since there isn't a zerk it has to be packed by hand. I'm sure with the billies being longer it will be a tighter fit. Guess I'll find out soon, I'll get these before I get new shoes and that won't be long. I'm down to 4/32 on the stock bridgestones.

Dude I was watching your vids wayyyyy before i joined these forums and i love them! Its kool because we have similar ideas as far as mods go. Anyhow i was searching 4runner vs must stank gt because one of my co workers kept talking bout how his must stank can beat everything and i came across your Runner. So... mad props to you and your build and, after i get just a few more mods I will Finally get to race him! :biggrin2:

Well then my V8 should definitely be able to do it. Wasn't really being that sarcastic. Engine mods are on my list, I'm thinking boost.

I've fit my 5 piece drum kit with cymbals, a guitar, a 2x12 cab, a fender blues jr, a bass, and a 1x14 bass amp, PLUS a PA system in one trip. Holy crap. It was scary hitting bumps. Everything made noise lol

Organized the rear cargo area. I have to start figuring a way of mounting cargo bags on the sides of the rear section.
Wedged my axe between the seat and the panel and rested the handle on the tonneau cover. It works, easy enough!
Threw all my hitch pins, hitches, and shackles into the summit racing bag on the left.
I have my tools in the craftsman bag in the middle.
Massive first aid kit in the red bag on the right hanging from the headrest. Jumper cables below the first aid kit
Spare belts too.
Tow and ratchet straps are in the right cubby, as well as smaller ratchet straps in both cubbies on top of the wheel wells. Also have spare bulbs for my Hellas in the wheel well cubby.
Welding sticks are next to the tire iron and jack in their cubby for trail side repairs.
The backs of my front seats are packed with various tools as well.
Just thought I would share my minimalist setup lol
