looks like your panel is experiencing "burn out". Happened with my Charger and they wanted like $180 to "replace" it.
What did you do with your 4runner today?

I've seen other members write that once they started replacing bulbs, they had others go out. I myself replaced the bulb behind the "driver temp" button, and when I put the dash back together I noticed that now my multi-display is flickering on the left side.
My theory is that the shock forces of pulling the dash trim away from the snap clips and then snapping it back together again is enough to jar the little bulbs...so any that are older and weaker will be prone to failing simply because you took the dash trim apart.
This is why I'm going to just replace multiple bulbs at the same time once I pull it back apart again. Hopefully it'll save me hassle later on.

Any idea why half of my hvac control screen won't light up?
Very easy fix you can do. If you take it to the dealership you will be stripped of your 4Runner and kicked off the forum.....lol

Yeah I didn't plan on being ripped off for one bulb, I think im going to order new bulbs when I get out of school and maybe do the mod to have blue and white LEDs rather than the orange. Where's a good place to order bulbs?

Superbright LEDs has everything you need. You will need 2 Neo4's for the screen and a bunch (6-7 i think) of Neo 3's if you want to do all of the HVAC bulbs

Stayed home from work and watched my little "Princess".
While she napped, I took care of moving the fender liner forward and trimming that little nub with a Dremmel. (All in preparation for my new 17x8, 0 offset wheels and 265-70-17 tires which I should have in a week or so). Wanted to take care of this just in case so I don't need to worry about it. From my perspective I see nothing negative in doing this mod either way.
I'm also sadly disappointed that my 5100's look that bad after one winter in Western PA.... Good Lord. They looked brand new in November before snow/salt!

Thanks! Haha I'll tell her you said so. See pics of the Bilsteins below. You can see the shine of them only under the sticker. I'm less than pleased, put it that way.
Having known it would be this bad in less than a year (installed last April) I would have clear coated then our something. For comparison, my OEM's that had been on there for like 5 years prior, I remember them still looking new/black.

Funny, I was sort of thinking along those same lines.. Haha. No time anymore though with the little one!
