What did you do with your 4runner today?

Pull out of the sand my friend's Sx4, way to easy for my runner
 
Hauled a lot of mulch.. Forgot to take a picture of the rear end squat until I had already unloaded a bunch. So all I have is these pics of the 4runner full of mulch.

Luckily only a little spilled and it was an easy cleanup.

Cleaned it and finished installing upgraded high beams and changed door lights to blue LED's instead of white. Now just waiting on my "brighter" LED's for reverse because the ones I currently have in there kinda suck....

Pictures do this thing no justice. It's like driving down the road during the day! My eyes hurt from plugging it in and looking at it at the same time... Not smart but worth it.

My headlights seem useless now

I asked Jason Demello if those cut-outs were suitable for high-lift jacking points... he said no, but a shackle on the shackle-mount is. Also, with a winch in there you should be able to reach the engage/disengage lever depending on how you've clocked it. Aside from that, airflow is always good.

Really?? I wonder if it's because they use thinner plate than everyone else. Maybe somebody tried it out in the field and "accordion-ed" that joker. I guess they're only there for airflow and to be decorative on the D.O., but if you look at most manufacturers plate bumpers like Shrock, ARB, or CBI, you'll notice that they all have some sort of a slot on the forward most vertical face and if those aren't put there for hi-lift jack recovery, then a lot of us are misinformed. I know for a fact that I can lift my vehicle from there.

Also, I would think lifting from the shackle on the D.O. might have a tendency to draw the jack into your vehicle more so than others since theirs are on the angled face as opposed to others'. I could be wrong though.

Regardless, I'm more and more happy that I went the route I did when it came to bumpers.

me too between moving logs and saving me from the black lagoon monster that bumper and winch setup has come in quite handy..

oh an not to mention the light bar war you had with one of your neighbors lol...
