Correct, Ive heard nothing but good things about them so I'm excited to run them this time around. They remind me of a Duratrac Duratrac 2.0 if you will.

I was checking them out earlier today, I like them. The 3ply sidewalls are definitely appealing, I'm just not sure if they'll have enough grip for me on the rocks.

I watched a few youtube videos and poked around a good amount of automotive threads to get peoples opinions. From what I have gathered everyone loves them and with a little airing down they should be able to hang with the best tires out there. Just Google search and you'll see plenty of threads on different website with real person reviews. :thumb3:

not completely done but i have an old bed sheet i keep on the back to keep down on mu and dirt. main reason was to have bikes with me and be able to go places after a ride. my main place to ride is the city, richmond had some of the best trails in virginia. seeing bikes missing wheels all over town, or just a pair of handle bars is the main reason i keep bikes inside and one of the reasons i have a 4runner and not a taco

I also added a sliding lid in the left drawer, which acts as a place to set stuff you're removing from the other side. Or, in our case a portable changing table:moon:. In this next picture, you can see it slid into the forward position.
This time around, I also chose to add a rear cubby that spans the width of the box. This is great for longer items, like my umbrella. Or, items like my jumper cables that I always have but rarely use.
Here is the Cubby Lid in Place
Popped Open
And, Fully Open
Consequently, when the double decker shelf is in place, this cubby is completely hidden, so the rear cubby also acts as a great hiding place for valuables if you're at a trailhead, disc golf course or camping etc.
Disassembled & Ready to install in the 4Runner
You'll also notice in the picture above that I've cut out large areas of the floor board. I originally did this to cut down on weight, which honestly didn't help. But, these came in really handy as the only way to grab this thing when installing it in the 4Runner.

nice work man! I wish I had your wood working skills.. I have patients for metal work but working with wood takes a whole nother set of patients and talent. I've had the floor cut out ready for the base of my box I'm building for months now. I just can't work up the gumption to spend the time needed to build the rest lol.

Well, it does concern me because we frequent the same areas of the forum. I've tried to ignore your posts, but it tells me, "I can't ignore moderators." I could skip over them, but then I'd be skipping half the 4th Gen section. Of course, this isn't your concern either I suppose
