What did you do with your 4runner today?

Thanks for the reply. My seat sinks down on the back right side and I'm assuming this is the isssue. I'm going to pull it out and see if this is the cause. If so I'll lay a bead down on it and post up my results.

maybe ill have to break my seat to get my much needed 1-2" more headroom.

Mine does the exact same thing.

You guys think this was caused by the old clunk that been happening ? I'm starting to feel this n my drivers seat when I turn either direction .

i should use the term "trail" a bit more loosely, its there but no markings and its not much of a trail(and no i was not tresspassing). i see trucks go thru this one puddle there all the time. this was like the 5th time i have gone in this puddle but i guess someone didnt want us there so they ut a big rock in there, and the fast that you cant see in this puddle didnt help any

Had to leave them at the shop to dry after work but the paint looks good. Im considering putting some LED strips I have left over from a job in there but im undecided still.
I decided that I will never satoshi my grill, that way our trucks will not be exact twins. Plus, you are going orange soon anyway right ? I swear Im not copying you But you do have great style mang{srp rules) ! Cant wait to see that thing and get some pics of them side by side.

Well I tried to create a "demon eye" effect on the Runner but it failed hard. I guess that only works best with projectors. But I did how ever manage to Black out the bezel and made my own halos. Rings don't seem to fit the 03-05 4runners at all so I just used LED strips.

Towed this piece of crap out it doesn't even have tow hooks Ford said to tie it around the frame. But the 4runner handled it like a Boss even with 2 wheels 8inches deep in mud

low rpm..

cleaned out my throttle body and MAF sensor today but its still idling really low in park like 500-700rpm, stopped at a light or just taking my foot off the gas it drops to an even 500 rpm. No weird noises or vibrations idk if im making this out to be more than it is but it worries me.

I've found I get a better response out of cleaning those Items if i reset the zero points after I get done cleaning and reinstalling everything. It kinda resets the system to what is now zero instead of it having to learn itself.

Reset the zero points? This done by disconnecting the battery?

Yup, I've driven this thing for about 7 years and 140K miles and it's always idled around 5-600 when warm. Higher on cold start of course. I love it. Can't even tell it's running, like a luxury car.

took apart all my door panels and speaker panels to find out it was just my golf clubs in the back causing a noise at higher volumes.

Good thing is i think i was the first one to pop open my door panels and what not. OEM plastics and clubs all looked to have the same amount of dust.

Yea you have to use glue for them to stay on well. Its a worthy mod to me. My led strip had a black backing so it blends better.

I have my black headlights put back together and in the truck. Painted the springs, shock, UCA and LCA , hub.cover and a. Couple of shacles painted gloss colonial red. Springs took forever to prep and I painted the hell out of them. At the depot to get some loctite then back to work, pics later.
