My mechanic said he tested it and it was fine. I guess something to do with the battery was so low that it couldn't power the compressor to start the AC or something

Weak batteries do strange things to cars. When I bought my truck last year, it had the original battery in it with over 109,500 miles. The shifter light on the gauge cluster would blink until you've driven a few miles. When I put a new battery in, the blinking stopped and never returned since. The battery did fail the load test and I got a Toyota True Start

Back to my AC Indicator light. I got my car back from the shop and apparently my AC kicked on as soon as he hooked up his computer. He said is was something related to my battery and it still being the original from 10 years ago. So my question is what is the top quality, best bang for your buck battery i should get to replace it? I've done searches and all I could really find was dual battery setups and marine batteries. Any help would be great!

i chose to replace mine with a TruStart from Toyota, dont get the Tru2's as they're "recycled" batteries. Just go get one from the dealer, plus their warranty is nice.

Starting on my front wheel bearings, I picked up a set from blue pit! I chose to go with OEM parts and for $279 preside you can't go wrong.

Very cool guy and super fast and bomb proof packaging.

Took my runner to the dealer, 90k miles service, ouch, plus brake job, pretty much new rear brakes, holly sh''t 1500usd, plus new cv boot, at least my ride feels like new

Got some new LEDs from LightSource [MENTION=67365]Whitebeauty[/MENTION] today and installed them.

I'm not sure what size panels these are, but they're the same ones he sells for the cargo area. I had to trim em down a little bit to fit the RAS overhead console but they fit really well.

Just did mine last week. I went OEM as well, the extra $50 is worth the piece of mind of not buying Chinese parts. Took me 2 hours a side with no power or air tools, and no help either.

Not yet. Might be going after the car I hit for insurance fraud because they are claiming a HUGE dent that is way above where my bumper contacted their vehicle. No way in hell my truck did that. I left scuffs and a half golf ball sized dent low on their tailgate (2011 CRV). We shall see what happens!

The lights still dim with the LED interior, I enjoy the dimming as well and that was one of the first questions I asked when I got my 4R and put the first eBay set in.

They're so much brighter, if I ever trade the 4R in, it will be the first mod I do to my next vehicle.
