What did you do with your 4runner today?

I finally got tired of the tires rubbing and moved the fender liners forward. After that I completed the HCF delete....

Next week starts the fun stuff since I sold my bike. URD Y-pipe, URD MAF sensor, 50 series Super SUV, brakes, plugs, Sea Foam, Energy bushing upgrades and oil changes.

Looking at all the build threads is killing my wallet!

Enjoyed my first day off of work in a couple weeks by hitting some trails and completing my AP Photo assignment.











I haven't put the set in photoshop yet so these are just the raw images. They're gonna look 1000x better tomorrow.

Fixed my dome light, installed new NGK iridiums, and applied my new t4r decals to the truck, tool box, and yeti! Oh and I removed a broken off skid plate bolt and installed four new bolts. It was a productive weekend!

Went out last night with Addison (Rickashay) and aligned my projectors. He also convinced me to let him take some photos of his handy work on my 4Runner. Since he's a "little" better with a camera I said go for it.

Got my XREAS fixed! (I didn't pay for it)

I'm in the minority when it comes to the infamous XREAS problem. I actually got mine fixed (all four shocks replaced). Figure I'd try it out since I couldn't be sure if it was broken when I bought her about 3 years ago. WOW, whatta difference!! Apart from how much it cost to repair, I can't understand the amount of HATE this system has. I absolutely love it!!! Highway was soft yet firm. Corners flat. My truck NEVER rode like this, it felt like a brand new 4Runner (to me). Rode a lot more "sure footed" if that makes any sense.... Very expensive ($900), but I didn't pay for it since my father offered to pay for it (nice guy). Anyway, these things last about 100K miles, so when these shocks take a sh*t on me, I'll more than likely get billies for them unless I can figure out how to install/service them (which apparenly you can't but I'm not believing that......... yet............)

Anyway, NEW!!!!!!!

After picking her up from the dealer, I tanked her up to go home........

Yesterday I towed my buddies subi 290 miles across california from Ft. Bragg to Reno, NV. Roughly 5600lbs of trailer, car, gear and dogs. Pulled flawlessly despite climbing 5k feet in pouring rain and fog.

Ready for the 290 mile journey to drop it off in Reno.
