What did you do with your 4runner today?

Installed an Aries grill guard on my dads 4Runner today, I found it on CL for $200. Not a bad deal for a brand new brush guard. Then I was able to mount the 13.5" combo light bar I got him for his birthday. It works well with the chrome grill that was on there when we bought it.

Then my Dad's wife started showing signs of a heart attack

THEN my fiancée and I were on our way to dinner. Saw a Camry on the side of the road almost in the middle of the lane, passenger door was open and you could hear screaming. I pulled over immediately and went to go check it out. A few seconds later the car sped off. A kid was left there. His brother was beating him up and choking him in the car and he managed to get out. I waited for the cops to show up with another passer by who stopped and the kid started puking. Poor kid. Probably 16 years old. Face and hands were all bloodied up. No idea what the problem was but that's not cool to do to your brother.

Dads wife is feeling better. Getting tests and being held under observation.


As for the kid, I have no idea what happened but the cops showed up and I left soon after. He was pretty shaken up obviously.

Installed version 1 of the fishing rod holder inside the 4runner. Got it all set to hold 4 rods just below the ceiling. Will drive with it for a week and make some adjustments.

It does boil down to what you like more, you're the one that has to drive it.

Black wheels with the lettering out(As it sits)... Silver wheels with the lettering on the inside, aka black wall/tire. Just my 2 cents from observation. :thanks:
