Nice! Well, heading out in the 4Runner for a Father's Day lunch and mini reunion with the family. I do plan on detailing her sometime this week (been awhile).

Picked up some older tacoma wheels, tires included, for a steal on craigslist. I personally like them. And the tires will probably last me around a year or so. So I'm happy with my CL deal. Also came with a full set of lugs, with the security lock key .

If they had been actual FJ wheels on it I would have definitely kept them, I love the FJ wheels. But sadly I had just the stock sr5 wheels from 2003 on it. I'm still in a debate over what will stay on it. But for what I paid , it's worth it to just use the tires that came on the tacoma wheels.

it works for me, i got these 22s on sale for 100 a peice on tirerack, the tires (yokohama 285-40-22),i bought with the wheels lasted 60000 miles and still have about 10% left from the tread wear indicators. these new set (yokohama 285-45-22) rides more better with the extra rubber. i know not everyone here likes my big rims, but it was what i wanted to make my own truck different from everyone else. the first time the rims were on, i get alot of looks on the road during traffic jams, i know my truck is different, i think i pulled off this look nicely.

I still don't think big tires on 4runners look good, HOWEVER!!! That particular wheel on his black 4Runner look STUNNING!! IMHO. :rockon:

FINALLY getting around to posting pictures. We installed Toytec Superflex 2" rear springs and OME Nitro Charger rear shocks last weekend. Although I now have the "rake" look again, I can live with it until I save up the coin for front coilovers and UCA's. Here is how she sits with the 2" lift in the back and Daystar 2.5 spacer with stock springs/shocks in the front (130K miles on them). I went back this weekend and checked all the bolts/nuts and everything was good to go.

Thanks! Only problem is those tires keep getting smaller and smaller everytime I lift it higher. They will need to go SOON!
