Right now I'm going to leave it chrome but I saw a pic (Nathan maybe?) where someone painted it red to match their red shackles in the steel bumper...kinda liked that look

It's an amazing machine. Jerry's cut off the sliders & is designing a new set for the Taco.


More teasers for ya J/K, for those of you that can't visit Jerry, here's some pics. He's a great guy. They're also sandblasting a '55 or something Alfa for a client who's doing a full-blown restoration. I can see how 2 guys can get overwhelmed with the amount of work coming in.

I must say that the quality of the sliders is better than expected. They taper 1.5" towards the back making for great running board replacements. Also, the powdercoating is very nice. It's a textured surface, so I may not need to use grip tape over the top for stepping, after all.

Jerry is awesome people. Nice little shop he has too used to be right by my offices. Sliders look great!

All done for now. I think I got in a hurry on the last few coats as I have some minor bubbling. I also taped a little heavy in two spots so the white is showing. I may redo it Friday night. If I flub again, I am thinking if just having it professionally painted since I know I want it blacked out. At least until I tackle retrofitting 06 headlights and doing a satoshi, which is the end goal!
