Got my homemade roof mounted rod holder on.. Made my own mounts out of unistrut and a few brackets. The container itself is a 6ft. piece of 4 inch PVC.. Anyways after all said and done went from this..
and a bunch of this..

To this.. My main goal was to make sure it held, would allow me to add a highlift(notice side bracket bolted on), and rod holder would hold with only a few bungees for ease of removal and placement..

Test fitted a glock holster in that little pocket thing on the underside of the armrest.

Preparing for my CCL. Borrowed a friend's holster and it didn't fit. I'll make one fit when I get my CCL

I'm making one that will be mounted in front of both seats (attached to them) that you can bolt your holster of choice to. Should be pretty accessible at that point.

He's dead to us regardless, he's not my father in law (though he might be technically). He beat Sarah's mom for 20 years, emotionally abuses them, and is an all around demon spawn. Can't wait til he gets what's coming to him.

I call that "arm rest" the center console...I believe that cubby is for a box of kleenex. I keep my pistol on my person at all times unless it's an extended drive, my LCP fits nicely in the "useless" compartment under the HVAC controls. Larger frame pistols mount nicely under the steering column as well.

There was a guy from AZ (trevloc?) who had a holster mounted to the center console. Looked handy, IIRC.

Those mounting spots sound great everyone. I'll take a look once I figure out what I want. Need to find a way of keeping it well hidden. We shall see.

I guess so, I thought the kydex holsters were fancier. I just remember it looking like the cheap holster that came with my XD

I did! I had so much done to it!! Funny thing is, is to the general public you wouldn't know, but it's a whole new truck!
