What did you do with your 4runner today?

you'll love those! I love mine! Hopefully your driver side one doesn't sag like mine did, i had to get a taller spacer for just that side.

Mine sagged just slightly , nothing terrible. And believe it or not these are off a 2009 Tacoma, found them for a steal of a price really close to me. Are yours the 4runner coils and shocks? or are they the tacoma one also? How's the ride for ya?


On a side note, if anyone wants some tacoma rear leafs, I can give them a really good deal, they guy made me take them. haha.. :fencing:

Mines the full on Tacoma strut and springs. Rides great, really soft but still stiff when needed. I love them.

Yeah. Mine are also the full tacoma coilovers. Also got the rear shocks , going to mod them to fit. I'm looking forward to putting them on. So it's safe to say they'll ride better than my stock sr5 suspension with 148k miles ??? haha.

haha i changed mine from my 100k blown xreas suspension. All bad.

Haha. Dang. Well one I get it up on the lift and get it all installed and aligned , I'll let you know how it turns out and I'll post some before and afters of the spacer lift. Only bad thing is , I think I might be sitting a little nose high afterwards. Did you gain lift from just the Tacoma coilovers ?

should be 1 - 1.5 off the tacoma set up alone. I have lean, but i wanted it. In the rear you'll need 2" lift springs or 3" if you install with the top spacers like pictured. I have daystar rears in mine.

I have 1.5 rear spacers that are also being installed. Do you think that will keep some of the factory rake ? Also on a side note , do you have aftermarket UCA ?

you may be right about the same height as i am. I have the Tacoma struts and 2.5" top spacer and 1.5" daystars in the rear. Im about an inch higher up front.

I have Light Racing UCAs.

Alright. And my front space is 1.5 also. So in the end , I'm hoping I'm either sitting level or with a little factory rake.

And the reason I ask is because that'll probably be my next big investment for the truck , adjustable UCA are so nice. Haha.

.25-.75" in the rear. If you don't take them, let me know and I will.

Id think youll be OK with lift but it depends on the spacers. Those look like 1.5" thick so itll lift 3". Like mine.

edit, definitely is. 3" front, 1.5" rear and a 1" diff drop and skid plate drop

Well dammit. I completely misunderstood the kit info. I bought it used and it didn't make sense to me that the front would lift 3 and the rear would only lift 1.5. I just thought that sounded odd.

I have the coilovers I just posted , my stock sr5 4runner coilovers, and a set of Tacoma sr4 4wd coilovers without the bilstein HDs.


To say the least , I'm really confused right now. -_-
Can someone explain net lift simply please ?
