What did you do with your 4runner today?

I figured this was menial enough to post in this thread vs the others. I finally replaced my front 5% with 35% charcoal tint after getting a ticket. Took it up to Monte Sano to ride the Epic. Also finally got it washed today. It looks so good wet....That's what she said.

I measured my fenders today all around and i dont get how i got my outcome

FR 38"
FL 38"

RR 37 1/4"
RL 38 3/4"

Isnt the driver side the one thats usually lower?

What is your measurement from center of hub to fender?

Found solid 2" solid steel and got the guys at machine shop at work to make a receiver hitch to D ring:thumb:

Thanks, I love my tint. The previous owner had the 5% all around and I quickly learned to appreciate the cooler interior and privacy. The 5 is perfect as you can't see in, even in daylight when the sunshield up. However, the police didn't agree and thus the 35%. Not nearly as good but it'll do...back is still at 5.

I think it's just the angles and my running boards being off again. I've got about the same amount of lift as you do being 39" in the front.

I loved tint. I have too many tint tickets on my record so im so worried about getting them again. Ive switched cars a ton and still get hit with tickets. It looks great on yours.

Took some initiative, tips/advice from others and a week ago began a rear bumper build for my 4runner (OME medium lift and 1.5" RB BL). Hopefully by weeks end I will have sides and the dual swingaways for the spare and gas cans done then off to powder coating.

Nice! Building my rear bumper has been an amazing experience. And being able to say "I built that" when people ask is even better!

Sadly it has taken me a lot longer than expected due to unseen set backs (fractured tibia, work, and others) but I have everything ready and cut to add the swing outs so it should be done very soon!!

Thanks, the guys worked their butts off and the 4R hadn't had a buff/wax in a few years. I took off the grill to do a mesh grill and realized how much work it was so it got put on the back burner. At this point I am trying to decide on fiberglass work vs building a custom metal one. I'd love to sub out the work but no one seems to do it to the '05 model grill.
