though I think black cladding would look great on your truck

Yeah I didn't think so at first but he has a plastidip painting business. He's done whole cars, camo, graphics, and all sorts of other stuff. His work looks good. He quoted me $100 for the cladding, maybe i'll have him do the roof or the the center of the hood. Or hell maybe I'll just have him do the whole truck in Toyota Tan!

Finally got the new wheels/tires on the rig. Stock 18" Limited wheels with 275/65/18 Duratracs:

The July 4th holiday week I replaced my front rotors and pads. I used EBC Slotted rotors and Greenstuff 7000 pads.
I was asked about the difference from stock but it was to early to judge.
Now I have some miles on them, including some trails in Ouray.
The EBC rotors and Greenstuff 7000 pads are great. At first there was a lot of black dust on the wheels and I was concerned about it. I cleaned the wheels and the dust has not come back. The rotors are coated with a black coating that wears off and that created the dust.
There is no noise and stopping is solid and sure.
Coming down Imogene Pass in Ouray was a good test for getting the rotors hot and they were great, no fade at all.
I will be replacing the rear set soon using the same EBC products.

If the guy knows what he's doing the dip should last pretty long. My friend has his whole tundra dipped bright green and its holding up very good. And he wheels it alot.

Went from Boston to Rausch Creek last night.
Saw this first gen beauty in the parking lot (no roof or doors so he covered it up for the night). This dude drove it down from Maine! No trailer. That's crazy!
On the way down we saw a husky pup playing "you can't catch me" with a cop in the median. I wanted to take him home

Got me some DVD monitor headrest. They are very cool. These are 99% for my baby daughter and any future kid (or passenger) when going on long road trips. Anyway, they are Rosen AV7900 dual DVD. Hit a snag installing them, but I'll eventually figure it out. I refuse to pay $300 JUST to install them.
Factory matched leather: DVD headrest on left, stock headrest on right
Came with 1) 2X headrests, 2) 2X DVD players (there are separate iPod/USB modules that replace the DVD, but decided against that........ some people reporting problems), 3) 2X high def screens with touch control buttons and 4) 1 center control module (brains) with FM modulator. Pretty fancy..... :rockon:
Can't wait to fully install them!

I got them off the classifieds here so just keep an eye out they pop up every once in a while. I just ordered the roof rack to match too!

Thanks man! Just picked up some T-taps connectors. All I gotta is figure out what wire to tap into under the center console.................
Still can't figure out how to remove the seat backs...... urghhh
