Drove to work and found some clunking/rattling noise in the rear of my truck whenever I close the door. Anybody have some ideas what to check? I already have scheduled maintenance at Toyota tomorrow for my timing belt

The rear hatch gate can rattle, I had to wrap a few rounds of electrical tape around the latch right at the bumper to make the latch pull the door tight enough to prevent rattles. The door and latch don't have any adjustment. The rear seats can also rattle if they aren't fully latch back in there up right position, I've also seen guys have to wrap those latches in tape as well. The spare tire equipment can be loose, The cargo shelf can rattle if it isn't locked into postion up or down, Other than that I can't quit pin point it without hearing it. It could always be debris in your door from something.

Got my timing belt and other 100k maintenance done. Talked the stealership down by $400 too. Felt pretty proud of myself and the amount of information I've learned on here

What all did they replace? just the belt? or did you make sure to go ahead with a water pump, timing idler pulleys, and new tensioner?

The belt, pumps, pulleys, and tensioner. Also got OEM CV axles for free because I showed the guy that the original clamps fell off and that they weren't torn so he added them in for just the price of install. Also did all the diff fluids and peer steering fluid

Went driving in a new neighborhood and found some dirt. Went down what they had started to clear to make the road. it was a bit of fun and put it in 4wd so I would not get stuck.

Clean & Detail

After my failed attempt at plasti dipping my wheels (turned out fine, just didnt like it) I decided to give the truck a thorough cleaning instead. Washed, waxed, and full interior cleaning. Pics also show some of the "mods" I've done in the past few months and never posted up.

I'm open to any input on what I should do to customize it!

Gave it a good bath and grabbed the G110V1 and hit my headlights with some M105 to get rid of some hazy headlights.

Hazy driver side:

Polished passenger side

Also installed my TRD badges

Also put a nice coat of Collinite 845 Insulator wax. Best wax ever.

They were too dark for me. I got sick of the look and it was robbing too much light. I think I'm gonna get some tint film that isn't as dark, such as a light smoke.

I just went with different housings and I have the other ones still tinted in case I wanted to go back with those.

I did put a coat of Collinite in them i dk its uv protection capabilities but hoping they dont turn fast again

know this isnt the right thread 4 this...but really need to fix this asap....this thread gets loads of traffic.

have had this microbypass lying around for sometime now, i hv the pioneer avh 4400bt hu, it was installed professionally...apparently the installer didnt install the bypass that lets one play videos without going through the the whole hand brake thing.........the microbypass just has 3 cables...am looking for a direct step by step guide on how to go about hooking it up...do i need to take the dash apart?
