Damn, the thing about her father working under the van on jack stands really makes me cringe. It could have been way worse, hope it gets resolved soon.

He was so freaked out and crying after it happened. Worried because mom got her foot hurt and he had just sent the jeep down some steps into dads favorite ride. He knows how much I love that truck. But I love him more. I just hugged him and told him its OK I'm just glad he's not hurt and don't worry the trucks can be fixed. So I won't really punish him, it was a stupid move but it was unintentional, his punishment is that when he's 30 I'll still be busting his ass about how I had a sweet 4 runner until someone torpedoed it with a jeep. I'm good to my kids. And whatever happens with the truck happens. Hoping its going to be repaired and not cost me $. Her insurance is supposed to cover it. Im just afraid they will total it since i have none of the stock parts and i have about $7000 worth of off road goodies in the truck. Just got word from her that the foots not broken just sprained so that's good.

In the 3rd picture what is that "rod" hanging off by the jeeps rear and onto the ground?
Also really glad everyone is okay and thank God it didnt get any worse with this situation
Edit: never mind realized it looks like the iron banister. . .

That rod used to be the hand rail for the steps. Its like 13 steps pretty big drop

Just drive the 67 until they fix the 07. I wouldn't have an issue with that lol
I guess I would see things a tad different if I had kids. I know accidents happen and that's life! Good thing is that everything is ok, everyone is ok, and things can be fixed or replaced!

Either it was the seafoam I put in it, or I didn't put enough oil in when I changed it. Usually shooting rods means not enough oil but i changed it exactly like i have all the other times using the same brand.

Wow that is crazy, I'm glad your wife and son were not more seriously hurt, or her father under the van. This could have been SO much worse, sounds like you guys really got lucky all around. Props to your wife for being so brave and grabbing your son without hesitation. Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt

As a birthday present to myself today, I decide to have my DVD monitors installed by a professional. Lately I haven't had any time to do it and I have a long road trip coming up. Anyway, I thought I'd spare my truck my "amateur" installation (electrical) skills. hhahahaha.

One of the simplest mods out there, but boy did it make my day when I did that mod after staring at that light for 8+ months, even though I changed out my sensors and properly inflated them?!?

Have to have the TPMS synched to your ECU. It's a PITA. Usually Toyota can scan the code from the TPMS unit, but sometimes they have to break the bead and actually read the code off the unit. I just took the light off my gauge cluster. I can always put it back on

Or just remove the LED from the gauge cluster, that's what I did. No more blinking light!
Before picking up the 4th gen I recently bought new Duratracs for the 3rd gen. Since the 3rd has 16" wheels and the 4th has 17's I can't just swap tires. Today I swapped wheels/tires and plan to try this out for a couple days. The 16's look a little small so plasti dipping in the future might be required. '
