Wow, to be 18 again.......... Anyway, winters SUCK. The resulting "salty roads" rust the shit out of your truck. In the last few years (could be more, I dunno), they started using a salty solution to treat the roads. This is great for traction and the prevention of ice, but reeks havoc with cars (rusts them faster). Because it's a liquid, it gets to the nooks and crannies where salt didn't before.
Snow is cool when you are young, but you get older, it sucks big time. You have clear it off you car, shovel your driveway, take care not to skid on the road so you don't kill yourself and now you should power wash the salty sludge on the bottom of your car/truck/whatever so it doesn't rust. Sucks.
I remember a member from Georgia told me his engine bay is immaculate. Mine is rusty (owner before, probably a soccer mom or prized wife beatch never bothered to have it cleaned). So I'm a bit jealous of those who have a "clean" engine bay.
So now that you know how I feel about winter..................... :rant:
