My V6 feels a TAD "fluttery" when she starts up......................... Praying to the Toyota gods that the head gaskets are ok............ ray2:

so you feel better that sounds about right price using oem red box stuff. i had mine done at 165k and my car showed no record of it ever being done. when i took mine out it looked real good for the mileage, but i pissed my pants everytime i started it fearing it would break!

also installed the smaller center caps, instead of these large ones like in this picture! also removed the stupid american racing logos off the caps. Now there are no emblems on my truck anywhere!

Yeah, good for peace of mind, I guess. I didn't get a look at the belt that they took out, but with the amount I travel (19k this year) It just made sense to do it. 10 year old belts can go south quickly.

Yeah she's been acting weird. My drivers side wheel bearing is going bad, it stalled at startup yesterday (but then fired up no problem on the second try), and I need to replace my AC compressor and PS pump ASAP.

This poor truck I killed it

Went to start the truck the other day and turned the key, it cranked the had a split second before it started. This us the second time in the past 3 months. Is it anything to worry about?

I recharged it but the bearing assemblies are bad because of the pine barrens. The AC and PS are the lowest components, so they get crap in them. Its been a year since my truck swam, it's time to replace em... They're getting bad
