Got this on Ebay new for $139 shipped

Now there are 4 options that my 2003 Limited had that my 2005 Sport does not have- Dual Air control, Power Seats, 110 volt outlet and a V8.

I will live without the V8, Dual Air control and Power Seats.

I am working on the 110 volt outlet

Do you have a side view showing how far it sticks out?

i'll take one. it's not too far out, i do wish it was snugged a little closer, but it's prob just something i gotta get used to. i know with the reciever hitch style fold down it has to be further out that the swing away style. the point at which it comes out of the hitch and turns straight up is only about 2 inches past the bumper, then the tire is angled back towards the window, but leaves plenty of clearance from the window and door so that it doesn't chance hitting either one.

it came with a decent little LED light that is designed to mount on the side of the plate, but i didn't really care for how that looked, so instead i picked up these lil guys on ebay for $4.90 (with free shipping) they give a nice clean look and with the bright white LED's they more than do the job.

i may mount a jerry can behind the spare tire to fill in some of the space between the spare and the tailgate.

How long did install take you? And did you run wires down the A-Pillar, or tap into a sunroof? I will be tackling this next weekend.

I ran the wires down the A pillar. After taking the visor and pillar cover off I ran the wire inside the headliner and down the pillar. Then I tied a string on a bolt and the other end of the string to the wires. I dropped the bolt down the side of the dash so I could pull the wires easy.

I did not time the install but it went quick. I tend to do things a little slower than others. When I take things apart I generally clean them before putting them back on, stuff like that.

On a scale of 1-10 this is probably a 2, just above putting on the T4R.org decal :bluejump:

Last Friday I took that stripe off of her, wasn't a huge fan of that. Also removed the cheap stick on window visors (those where harder to remove than the stripe believe it or not) Then Saturday I washed her with Dawn to strip any wax. Sunday I started by claying the truck then moving on to the Megs Paint Cleaner followed by Megs Paint Polish and finally a nice coat of Megs Carnauba Wax using a Porter Cable DA with orange pads (except the wax I did by hand). Turned out pretty decent considering this probably hasn't been done for a long time if ever! Cant even tell there had been a strip/decals on her for the last 20 years. The pics really don't show the final results but it really does look 100x better. :rockon:

Ordered some nice Weather Tech in-channel visors coming soon

Changed burnt out fog light. Hatch lock acting up like many others listed on the forum so I pulled and cleaned it. Still pooched so I called the dealership for a price on a new one and they want $425 Canadian (about $390 U.S.). Ordered one for $197.00 U.S. from TRD in the States.

Checked on the rattle from under the vehicle which I thought was coming from the skid plate. I thought It was due to the crappy factory bolts and then noticed that the rear plate is missing. Had an oil change done at a local dealer as I live in a condo and can"t do it in my parking lot. No surprise, there is no recollection of the tech forgetting to replace the rear skid. Cost of the plate is $87.00. When it comes in I will be doing the nut-sert mounting of both plates. Right rear shock leaking. Original to the vehicle so Now I have an excuse to upgrade.

The dealer just did a good will replacement of the right axle on my wife's 09 Camry despite the fact that it is a few months out of warranty, $500 worth of work/parts so I didn't ***** too hard about the missing skid plate.

On a good note, I drove out to the range with a buddy and we put a few hundred rounds down range and had fun.
