What did you do with your 4runner today?

I am positive many people have gone down the exact path I took in regard to the 4R being painted and showed pictures but I still want to show off the pictures I've received so far from the painter haha!

Hey! I live in Virginia Beach, haha. I hope you have one of the white 4R's in VB that have tinted window (25% or darker) haha. I agree with you though, it is difficult to keep up with it but can be possible if you take care of it. Thankfully I have a home where I can put the 4R in the garage unlike my brother's crappy white honda that deserves to be parked outside...

Pissssssseeeeddd offffffff.......someone spilled white paint on the road and guess who couldn't avoid it.....this guy. So now I have to spend a few hours with some paint thinner and a pressure washer

Damn that sucks! I always seem to find white specks on my paint. It's a pain to remove!

It's the only way to do it right! Haha. I used wire wheels and flap disks to get it down to smooth steel. Wire was barely enough to combat the deep pitting in some areas caused by some of the rust. I was able to get most down pretty smooth though.

I used Bondo rubberized undercoating on top of rustoleum rust reformer and rustoleum self etching primer to allow for some strength against rock chips and sand. Should hold up well!
