What did you do with your 4runner today?

Installed the $16 interior LED light kit from Amazon. Very happy with the results. Thinking about doing the Map light Mod.

Also installed a new tail light housing in the wifes car. Ended up having to remove the bumper. Still a simple job just took longer than I expected.

Picked up a scanguage 2, and some led license plate lights as well as reverse lights to go along with my interior leds.

Ya, rust was the killer, and we had a floor jack break. Even with a master tech, myself, [MENTION=72341]NJshadow93[/MENTION] and some other guys it took forever - I think things just never go as planned. Even with my LR UCAs, with a ball joint puller and impact wrench it still took me 2 hours - but i'm just curious what took you guys 6 hours on just the rear? rust? hard to access bolts? My sliders took forever because you could only get a crescent wrench in to tighten the nuts

I like doing stuff myself too and generally will, but there are some things that just aren't worth it. Like diff fluids - messy, smelly, crappy job I don't wanna do. Going to try my T belt in the spring with a guy from TW.

This scares me, mine is whining like crazy. I'm going to change the fluid this week over to ATF, still running the OEM PS fluid... How bad was yours/what were the signs it was gonna die?

i would pay the money to have someone do that. to keep down time to a minimum. just want it to be done right the first time. this is not something i would learn on. now my volvo, i wouldnt hesitate since i personally have done 5 tb/wp jobs

ya, im definitely a little worried, but this guy has done 2 2UZ t belts in the past, but i'll see how it plays out when the time comes. i dont feel like doing it now, too cold...
