i might be wrong but the tacomas/fjs may have had an oem button that said ACC (accessory), i swear I've seen it, but that might be a possibility for the train horns

in this pic its the power accessory button, but i think I've seen a just ACC button

Rewired my auxiliary reverse lights! Now the roof bar and reverse lights work. I'm happy . Now I just have to rework the brackets I made so they are a little sturdier.

You should check out my thread on that. The brackets are holding up very well and it'll lower the bar a little.

Also how did you wire up the reverse lights? Trying to figure out how I'm gonna do mine

What's going on with the top of your flares? Is the paint missing or is that ice/snow? I ask because mine are in bad shape in the same place but nowhere near what those look like. I'm considering bedlining them instead of painting them.

Well I just bent thin stock for my current reverse light brackets. I need something a little more sturdy but I don't wanna have to rewire the lights from where they are. As for the roof bar, that will be coming off when I get the time. Too much wind noise and vibration. I'll make mounts at some point. For now, I can't stand it. I'll check your thread out

I tucked the pigtails and wiring between the headliner and the plastic paneling. I ran the passenger side light's wires under the carpet below the rear seats, merged it with the driver's side light wire, and hooked it up to a reverse light switch on the dash from OTRATTW. There is a relay that it's connected to under the hood. I have 5 relays screwed into my fender :facepalm:

lol, my wiring under the hood is a mess too. I'm thinking I'll use the reverse light wire with a diode as a signal wire for the relay and then I'll also run an independent wire from a switch as a signal for the relay so they will go on either with the switch or with the reverse lights.

I might be making stock rack mounting brackets for light bars with that CNC machine I was telling you about, but I may not be able to use a brake press, we'll see.

Might be interested in the brackets unless I make some of my own.

As for the wiring, I'm not hooking them up to come on with my reverse lights. I rarely use them. They cause too much glare with the window up and I don't wanna put the window down every time I back up.

Dropped her off at the dealership. The rear end has been making a lot of noise lately. Like a dull roar. Its still under warranty, otherwise I would have taken it anywhere else.

Annoying because they probably wont even look at it till Monday.
