What did you do with your 4runner today?

40" would be perfect. I'm at 38.5 front. I'm adding a 1.5" spacer too. did you need a spring compressor to get the whole thing in there? I'm hoping I wont have to rent one

What's so wrong with renting a spring compressor? It costs like $20 and they give it back to you when you return it

I ended up drilling the broken bolts out, re tapping and installing new bolts. The upper driver side bolt was a ***** to drill out and fix.

yeah, the pep boys is right down the street, I bought a pitman arm puller a while back at harbor freight and now I fear no ball joint on these trucks, great 10 bucks spent. Spring compressor though, i'd rather just rent when needed for now.

Sup guys haven't posted in a while. And just want to say I miss the Runner like no other especially with all this snowy weather we are getting in Chicago. But the good news is I convinced my sister to get new 4Runner Trail within the next year and a half.

In other words my "summer time car" needs Coils and I was wodering of you guys could help me out and vote for me on BC Racing NA page. If you guys dont want this post up since it has nothing to do with a Runner I understand and will gladly take it down.

I did my good deed of the day on my way to work this morning. I saw a Blazer with two guys in it stuck in a snowbank on the freeway onramp and helped them out. They had hit some black ice and spun around and went in pretty deep, but the back end was hanging out towards the ramp. I backed up, hooked up my tow strap hitch-to-hitch and yanked them out. At first the traction control was kicking in and now allowing me enough power, but locking the diff took care of that and I pulled them out pretty easy. They were very appreciative....probably because I saved them $100+ on a tow truck.

I had to compress my FJ springs when I added the 1.5" daystar spacers!

I can't wait to get my new icon rear springs with the 1.5" spacer on top! Flex city b*tch flex flex city!

Oh yeah, and the springs are gonna be powder coated purple. I love weird colors, and I support the ALZ foundation, so they are a tribute item of sorts.

Rotated my tires. Fronts started shaking. (Goodyear shop did crappy single pane balancing)

Went to Discount tires and had guys rebalanced the fronts. Oh what a joy to drive well balanced DuraTracs!

Got in my truck and got the eff out of my school! Someone called in a bomb threat so I got the hell out of there quick.

It seems like every day now that people are either making threats or shooting up schools. It's ridiculous. Everyone wants that 15 minutes... Or has serious issues and wants 15 minutes... Makes me wish CCW was legal in schools. I would feel much safer in class if I could defend myself, instead of being trapped there helpless.
