What did you do with your 4runner today?

So that axle seal started to leak again. And my caster bolts are seized so I can't install the lift kit until I get that straightened out.

what brand axle seal are you using?
how far did you drive it in?
what are you using to drive it in with?
also do you have part #'s for said axle seals pass & driver?
and for you alignment cams buy some moogs they are greaseable and new bushings and some new bj's all for around $175.....
then you will never have this problem again

Went to Toyota and got the seal. Drove it in as far as the old one was. I used a PVC cap that I found at lowes that fit perfectly. It held fine for about 5 days. It doesn't seem as bad as before but the axle and diff are wet again. I don't have the part numbers but if you go to Toyota Parts - Genuine Toyota and Scion Parts From Toyota Parts Overstock | ToyotaPartsOverstock.com you can get a parts blowup. I already have the part numbers for the bushings and cams just need to wait until school starts and I get the income from my GI bill. Right now Im living on savings and its slowly running out. Also question for you guys. how much should the axles be able to move in and out? I'm trying to hunt down this clunking I'm getting over uneven terrain and everything seems tight except those.

re-torqued my TC arms and let the pressure out of the bushings and excess grease. Then i installed a new pressure switch on my compressor for my train horns. All in all, a productive day.

Went out to prairie city svra and did a couple laps on the track. Was super fun and even got a little airborne. Truck handled it like a champ.

Then played on the obstacle course a bit.

from my exp. clunking when going front to reverse and such as mostly caused by lca bushings
if you have a go pro slap it on down there and hit some curbs and see whats going on......
cvs will move some in and out......id say maybe 1/4"
i don't see a problem with them as long as the c clip was seated
i got a diagram from toyo today...i cant seem to find parts #'s.....
was wondering if was the same as the 2nd gen tacoma
also check your uca's for clunking...stock or aftermarket?
