ordered some etrailer trailer light brackets for a pair of trailer reverse lights i have laying around. going to mount them to the bolt on the bottom of the rear bumper cover

Finally got a chance to do new brake pads all around. I discovered the top caliper bolt to be loose again... I can't seem to figure out why the bolt keeps backing out. I'm almost certain this was the cause of the noise I was hearing. As I was bedding in the new pads, not once did I hear the noise I heard before.

P.S. I used Wagner Thermo Quiets

Very nice! Yeah his install should be fun. Day headers, rear main seal, URD Stage 3+ clutch, light weight flywheel, and a new master cylinder. He bought new header bolts and studs already in anticipation of broken ones so we don't have to leave to get parts during install. Easier to return them later than burn daylight on mod day.

I hope so! Otherwise I'm gonna be getting a second engine to replace mine so I can have the stud hole drilled and tapped.

I kinda really wanna build a hipo 1GR. Stronger pistons and rod and such. Port and polish. Maybe bore it out a bit. Then supercharge that beast

Actually ordered it in November, November 12th to be exact... before the group buy. I know their lead time is long, I knew that before I chose to order from them. IMO I still think their front bumpers look the best on 4th gens and are great quality products. Also, the long lead time really didn't affect anything in my timeline of projects, so I'm happy with what I got and didn't have an issue with waiting.

Dropped it off this morning to have exhaust done. Went with Flowmaster 40series, and 2 1/2" single pipe exiting to the side behind the right rear. Sounds perfect.

Tonight installed the Daystar leveling kit. Was going to replace the outer tie rod since they told me it was bad. It wasn't, it's the inner :frusty:. Not enough time and didn't have the part. So now the tie rod and alignment will be next week.....
