What did you do with your 4runner today?

I lubed the drive shafts. It looks like it hadn't been done very much before I bought it. This owner likes the results enough to keep doing it on schedule.
The driveline clunk after stopping is gone! :biggrin2: The rear slip yoke took about 40 pumps with my gun, so that should be almost 1.6 oz.
The snap-crackle-pop sound, and stinky old grease leaving the spider joints was pretty satisfying, too.
Thanks to those that posted about the drive shaft greasing results.

You have the best LED gauges I've seen! definitely a must have mod but I'll have to wait a little bit until I get some bigger mods under my belt :dammit:

My camera has a positive and negative near the camera, which I connected to a 12v switched power source. Then there is the extra positive connector.... It just doesn't make sense. Especially when I have nothing to plug it into

By switched power source i guess u mean reverse + wire
Or are you using constant power on a switch
The other wire should be ground

There's + and - that go to 12v switched power, which I connected.
Then there's that red plug

It has to do with the ****ing reverse camera. Been talking to [MENTION=55855]zopperman[/MENTION] for 2 hours trying to resolve the issue I'm having and nothing is ****ing working. Now my HU is stuck thinking my truck is in reverse, but of course, the reverse signal wire isn't even connected. I've removed power from the HU and let it sit, then I plug it back in, turn the key, and it kicks right over to this. But THERE IS NO SIGNAL TELLING IT THE TRUCK IS IN REVERSE! The wire isn't even attached for the rear lights.

You messed with the camera settings.
You changed the camera setting from OFF to ground.
You need to press the reset button on the radio, usually in top left corner.
I dont want to hear, you did not do it. I know i didnt do it, so it must be you LOL

I was talking to Zak because he has a government job so I can distract him without feeling guilty because I'm paying his salary.
I fixed it eventually with the help of pioneer. I needed to get it working and my dash back together before class.
Not sure why the camera won't display an image. It's hooked up ok to 12v. I'll mess with it more later
I set the camera polarity to Battery, correct?

correct. polarity is based on what you using to trigger the radio to turn on camera. usually positive from the reverse line.
i let it slide for talking to zak, you are right we paying his salary!!
