For one thing you're comparing a beam shot from 30-40 yards away to one much closer. For another that pic was taken prior to me correcting the aim on my driver's side headlight (nothing to do with the HID swap).
Finally, I didn't say it was just as good, I said the difference wasn't worth the extra time, complication, and money to me. If razor sharp cutoffs is what tickles your pickle, go for it. Personally I just like the increased light output.

The beam pattern on your projectors isn't the best, a retrofitted projector would brighten up the sides alot. However, you are pleased with the results and most importantly, aren't blinding oncoming traffic. Unfortunately for us (yosh, riceandpho, etc etc), well, we're light fanatics, so................. LOL.

Installed Icon uniball UCAs and went up from the 1st to the 2nd notch on the Bilsteins. Taking measurements after work to see how much height was gained.

What springs are you running? I was thinking about going up a notch too, how hard was it to change? I was thinking I could just remove the UCA and hook up the spring compressors and compress it enough to take the clip out and move it up a notch.

I'm running the Toytec springs. I was happy with the previous height but my Shrockworks bumper should be coming soon and I wanted to go up a notch in preparation for that.

I thought it would be that simple also but it was not. I removed the assembly from the vehicle and used 2 spring compressors. I thought I would be able to compress, adjust the snap ring for the perch, release compression and be finished. No sir. You will have to compress, remove the hat on top of the spring, then remove the spring and adjust the snap ring. Reassemble and reinstall. It's not difficult but it's tedious. I don't plan on adjusting mine ever again unless my bumper really drags the front end down.

Swapped sport edition wheels for limited wheels and changed out the filter to a k&n!

To really get a benefit from the K&N you should remove the HCF Carbon Filter, it's the white filter mesh visable in this pic, you just pop the plastic rivots and remove it. Makes a big difference with the K&N Filter
