What did you do with your 4runner today?

Finally got the rear FJ springs in however I must have messed up something because there was a puddle of hydraulic fluid in front of the diff when I was done. I was in a rush to leave so I did not investigate but I'm thinking the only thing that's there is brake lines? Could I have messed up the brake lines somehow? I didn't notice anything during the install and I was checking if the lines were stretching up too much, and they looked OK. And if it was brake lines why only one puddle in the middle? I'll have to get under the vehicle tomorrow morning and have a good look.

False alarm. No trace of leaks anywhere on the diff, brake lines are OK.

The fluid came from the jack... not sure what to do about it.

LOL sure, but we're talking about the stock jack, I didn't even know it can just leak like that. I have bigger jacks but the stock one is useful cause it's tiny.

Had to drive 45 minutes, but I found some snow up in the mountains. I got my KO2's after winter last year, so it was the first time I had them in some snow. I'm happy to say they kick all kinds of ass!

Shined up the interior with Armor-all and vacuumed the life out of my carpet

Went in full detail on the rims and tires. A clean 4Runner is a happy 4Runner.

I know what you mean! If I was going on an Offroading trip then I wouldn't have washed it. But being in the car for that long I would rather be in a clean vehicle. I plan on trying to hit some trails this weekend, hopefully get some snow on the tires.

Cleaned MAF sensor, worked on convincing a coworker that they need a 4Runner.

Installed the rear tacoma bilsteins (had to sawzall the frozen nuts off the stockers) and new rear swaybar links. With this I finished my lift setup install. Will commence incremental road testing tomorrow.
