In the summer I constantly have a heavy duty 28', an 8' and a 6' up there. Lol

okay, so i will have another RIGID install coming.
Surfing Amazon and found these, noticed they were typically $899
So I jumped on it and bought them...
Went back to check to make sure I was not dreaming and noticed the price went up $70 after I bought them.
I am going to mount the light bar in the lower grill that i just covered with the gutter guard.

That place is sooo cool. It is on my bucket list.
Many years ago in another life I lived near Tombstone, AZ and Joshua Tree reminds me of that area, without the Trees....

We ordered some lt265/70-17 cooper st max. They show it weights 51 pounds which is wrong. They are 59 lbs if anyone is interested in that information. But these are some beefy tires. But these srent the ones i ordered for my 4th gen. These cooper tire are going on my dads NISSAN PATROL. If anyone want me to put up pictures of the tire by it self let me know

I've been coming to Joshua Tree for almost 20 years, but I've never had the chance to actually explore it until now and I'm usually on the southern end. Can't wait to check out some more of the canyons and see more of the stuff off the beaten path that the "normal" tourist can't get to.

Oh, and why are you replacing them?
Why a yellow hid? They are stock setup. Eventually I'm going to get some led lights for them.
Was cheaper to replace the whole thing than to replace just the socket which burnt out. Well, turn signal socket burnt out and I decided since I was replacing them I should do the fog lights too. Wait til you see what my originals look like! You can't even see the diffuser or whatever it's called inside them.

PD ya emblems and decal! Did all chrome lettering and added some pizazz
Took a drive to the local AVW Offroad shop and picked up a couple decals. A zombie sticker to balance out my rear window and this gnarly 'Don't Tread On Me' flag. Looks badass
Oh, and replaced the stupid zip-ties that secure the boots to the rear shocks with some good 'ol durable hose clamps. As I find out my boots keep sliding off every time I flex. Why isn't this done initially?? [emoji19]

I ditched my boots completely cause I couldn't keep them on. They filled with dirt and water then froze. Was a bad thing.

Cuz they're super bright and because our housings are actual projectors, they make for an amazing fog light.
Ouch, didn't realize the pig tail would be that expensive! Mine is just beginning to short out...

That's what I was afraid of happening. Luckily, I've managed to escape that nightmare. Behind them the rods are still shiny and clean [emoji3] lets hope they stay that way....
Mine have been off for a year with no issue's. Hopefully they last a little longer.

Tbh I didn't know if it was safe to remove them. Other wise I would have done so already. We'll see if these clamps hold up. I tighted the hell out of em. If not, I'll be joining you bootless
Oh Ya. I'm sure if you can keep them in they will keep dirt and such out and help a ton, but they aren't required.

I learned a long time ago (when I used to off-road with Samurais and ATVs and such) that the dirt and water will ALWAYS find a way in - the boots are just a guarantee that they can't find a way out. Which, of course, is worse than general unbooted exposure.
