Got my truck back from getting the exhaust done! Doug thorley headers, dual exhaust with a magnaflow race muffler. It's mean!

Truck didn't start, had to mountain bike to my dr appointment today. Turned out to be a dead battery. It lasted 4 years. I need to get into the habit of changing the battery every 3 years. My vehicles have a tendency to die when I really need it.

You may want to start buying better battery's. My battery is just going over 6 years old. Had it tested last week and the CCA is down to 550 from 650. But it's still holding at 12+ volts. I'm due for a new battery so I just might buy one next week.

Purchased 24k mile warranty when I got my 4Runner
Today the warranty approved (after sending an inspector out) front upper and lower control arms. Now to just to fight to have them pay the actual cost (They only wanted to pay ~$1500 and are refusing to pay for the required alignment)
Stopped by my dealer to check on my new dashboard and mentioned my issue. Dealer offered to apply pressure to get the warranty to pay full cost + the alignment. Hopefully this time next week I"ll have all new control arms for just $100 :dancin:

Yesterday I did my spark plugs, pcv valve, oil change, front and rear diffs and transfer case. Both the diffs were black and my plugs were nearly there. I have a 06 v6 sport with 110k and I'm pretty sure the fluids were never changed. I bought it a couple weeks ago and drove it about 800 miles to get back home, best I could get mpg wise was 16.2 on the computer. It was off by about 2 miles, when I filled up I divided miles to gallons and I was only getting about 14.5 mpg. Well driving home today my computer was reading about 21 mpg so hopefully I'm getting around 17-18mpg. Quick tuneup can yield 3 more mpg, hell yeah!

That front tire looks like it has extreme positive camber.
Get an alignment soon!

Got the transmission flushed & refilled with WS.
Hows the clearance with those tires in the front and back? i am considering going 285s fron 265s.

Rear wasnt an issue. The front i had to trim the bumper a bit not much and i move the fender liner in ahead of time.
