Uhm...WTF chuck? I think I must have missed something, but why is engine getting pulled?????

I think the rings were bad on 2 cylinders, po ragged this motor pretty badly. I got a used engine and swapped it out, runs great now. I'm selling parts off the old engine . Heads are good intakes good. Brand new injectors in it also. Some parts are spoken for

Since there are only 4 tie down points in these vehicles, stuff in the cargo area loves to go flying all the time, more tie down points is a must. So, today I cut a piece of wood to fit the cargo area, put some black carpet on it, and mounted it to the factory tie down locations. Then got 8 tie down D rings to mounts to it so I will have 12 tie down locations. So far I have 4 of them mounted shown in the picture. :nod:

Finally got output shots of the new LED headlights. Huge improvement over stock. Even light spread, and nice pure white color temp.

Done replacing the stock alternator and cleaning the headlights.

I bought a connector that takes a Deutsch connection to a 9006 connection so I will be able to use my factory switch to turn my Rigid lights on and off.

While that comes I have to figure out how to place 4 Rigid (Two Driving and Two Spot) lights. I'm replacing my two lower LED lights.

Tried to take it up to Moore Lake by Empire. That was an easy road back in 2000 the last time I was there. This time there was a Jeep Club lined up airing down, thirty built Jeeps lined up so I was wondering how the road had changed. Yeah, it changed. I made about two miles, dragged the tow hitch, saw worse above, had to turn around.

I don't kid you, there was thirty Jeeps lined up and that's what probably tore the road up in the first place.

Switched from 5th gen back to my 4th gen today. My wife has been off work last couple months on fmla with new baby. So her 11 trail has basically been parked in garage/driveway and a few weeks ago I took it to store and noticed front tires were out of balance so switched over to it had it balanced ,serviced , and inspection sticker updated etc.... And just kept driving it to work over past few weeks honestly just enjoying hooking up by Bluetooth and jamming out over the jbl audio system that's far superior to my 08 sr5's. So hopped back in my 4th gen today to get some things done and was blown away by the difference in the two models. I love them both in different ways but was just struck by the vast difference between the two! Lucky to have them both to compare![emoji1598]

Finally had time to go through some of the footage from Rausch Creek this past weekend. Cause of the weather and extreme mud, I didn't get a ton, but I am putting it in a folder for a future "montage/year in review" video I am going to make involving all my wheeling and camping.

Either way, just cut this short little clip out because I thought it was super cool. Tried out a new angle and really happy with how it came out! You guys get to see me take the end of this mud pit a bit too quick lol. A bit bouncy! Also super surprised at how much flex I am getting out of my rear end!! (around :24 in the video)
