Satoshi Grill Mod

So finally put my head down and did Satoshi Grill mod.
I've been wanting to do it for a long time.

I tried changing my interior lights to LEDs but now the bulbs won't work and neither will the old ones. During the process, my alarm also stopped working. I tried reprogramming it with the open close door procedure. It's a 2003 SR5, any ideas? Thanks in advance

Installed my new Radflo rear springs. Old was FJ springs with Daystar 1.5" spacer. FJ with 1.5" spacer I was sitting at 38" ground to bottom of fender.

Radflo gave me another 1/2" with just springs. Was hoping for 1" more overall. I dont want to put the 1.5" spacers back in because that would be 2" more overall. Maybe ill toss in some of the ome 10mm trim spacers to get closser to 3/4" more than I was.

Now to install the 2.5" extended travel Radflo coils tomorrow with Dirtking UCA :bravo:

Rewired my CB radio power directly to the battery.

Zero improvement :shrug: I'll talk to my EE colleague tomorrow.

I have the radflo 2.5 ext travel coils with the radflo springs and the daystar 1.5 spacer on top.. In my opinion.. it sits perfect. ever so slight rake when totally empty. completely level with 200lbs in the back. Pics from today posting in a minute.. otherwise check build thread

Went out with a few buddies to a local pole line road to test out my friends brand new Tacoma TRD offroad I sold to him ( I work at toyota).. This was its first trip offroad. Because of our schedules, it had to be done at night. But, night wheeling is fun lol. Here is a quick video of it from my dash cam.

Anyway.. got all muddy.. and today detailed it and put a fresh coat of collinite wax on it.

Get a licence and have some of the best communications equipment available to you.

I just did 5 off-grip camping trips in the last 6 months and ham radio was my only source of reliable communication...

Not sure about the rear seat, sorry. I just got them and mine doesn't fit correctly either. There is no provision/bump-out for where the rear seat bottom brackets come down to the hinge to flip forward. I need to snap some pics and re-read the Weathertech threads to try to confirm if they sent me the correct part and/of if there is a solution other than cutting... I am thinking I could use a heat gun to re-mold this area, has anyone tried it? :bump:

UPDATE

I messed around with my rear passenger mat tonight and realized that I didn't have far enough forward. The edge will go further under the front seat that it appears and it is a tight fit.... but once I figured this out, the mat fits much better all around and I am happy with the result.

I will mess around more. My driver's seat is all the way back.

Installed my AIP bypass kit from member slyfox75. I'm very technically / electrically / mechanically challenged, and the hardest part of this was getting the MAF wires back into the loom.

Finished the install. Drives nice. Definitely stiffer, but confortable.

White plastidipped the silver plastic around the stereo and the gear shift nob. First time plastidipping, it wasn't really pretty but I'll probably redo it soon.
