What did you do with your 4runner today?

White plastidipped the silver plastic around the stereo and the gear shift nob. First time plastidipping, it wasn't really pretty but I'll probably redo it soon.

Do you have any pics? I may be interested in doing that myself..

Pulling the interior apart in my new-to-me 2003 Limited today. It smells a little like dog. Cleaning carpet and all the crevices, maybe steam cleaning the headliner while everything is out. Before mods it's got to be clean!!!!

First two coats need to be really light. Then you can lay it on thick for 3 more coats.

Used my crushed exhaust tip as an excuse to route it out the side.

Sounds deeper and better, no smell w/rear window down and better departure angle.

Got everything ready to replace the passenger wheel hub bearing assemble, jacked it up, took off the tire only to find the cv axle inner seal cracked and spooged grease all over the lca and frame. It got cleaned up and the tire reinstalled. I need to get a boot kit, then I will tackle this job again. Essentially I took a wheel off and put it back on today....yah!

Spent many hours over the last few days putting the plastic cladding back on my 2003 T4R. Some of you may have already seen my truck around the forum. It looked like a zombie apocalypse vehicle without the plastic cladding, but today she finally sits looking finished. I used stone guard to coat the cladding so it would look fresh and new, as it was quite worn. I'm pleased with how tough the stone guard seems to be and I'm pleased with how it looks. Phew! Glad to have that project finished! :becky:

Installed FJ coils & OME trim spacers

so lift so far is 5100/trd coils up front and 5100/FJ + 10mm trim spacers in back. Then i made sure the CDL was working.

finally got around to putting together my kuat sherpa 2.0 bike rack. gray matches 4r perfectly.

were heading up to steamboat next weekend to go camping, soak in strawberry hot springs and hit buffalo and rabbit ears pass so ill be able to test how it holds up on easy-moderate trails.

I drove mine right through the middle of this little bugger's house in the woods. I don't know what kind of spider that is. I don't think I've ever seen a spider with a shell before. I don't know if it's his shell or if he killed something and took the shell. I guess I don't even know that it is a shell but it looks like a shell. Before he got blown off from the wind on the main road he was trying to rebuild his house right on my windshield.

Washed her and removed the blower since its making a subtle hitting noise at high speeds. Didn't find anything unusual during inspection but going to test drive a little later.

Finally finished ripping out all the JBL synthesis garbage from my 2003. Replaced with Alpine CDE 260 head unit, Alpine 6x9s in front, Alpine 6.5s in rear, kicker tweeters and 8" sub in Stock enclosure. Mounted a 5 channel Kenwood KAC 650d 1200 watt amp to the back of the rear drivers side seat to power it all. The while JBL system was garbage and definitely in need of replacement. It's a night and day difference.

I think I just covered them in dip then pulled it off. Was a while ago though.
