What did you do with your 4runner today?

Finally ordered a DA polisher and detailing supplies. I've never done this before but I've got some pinstripes that just aren't cool anymore.

Same boat. Removed 90% of the aggressive blemishes with a rotary polisher but need to go back in with a DA and a finer pad to remove swirls. So close though.

Yeah... I haven't settled on it yet. I'm looking for the "cleanest" way to do it... I've read it can be done going down the A pillar. But I haven't looked closely enough at it yet. If you have any ideas (and pictures!) - would love to hear/see 'em.

I ran my wiring down the driver's side A-pillar and put a strip of electrical tape over the wire to hide it and keep it in place. It's worked great and looks great too for the last 3 years...no one would be the wiser unless they were told...

Because just like his build his posts were usually haphazardly thrown together and when confronted/questioned or attempted reasoning took place he would just go into shut down mode and go crazy. . . .the internets are a hard place for some. :keyboard:

Thanks - that's good to know. Did you try to put it under the window molding at all... or just next to it, covered by tape? Any pictures?

I didn't try under the window molding as I didn't want any issues with factory sealants failing...Here's a photo, but you really can't even tell there's something there as it's hidden by the black outline the window already has (if you zoom in I suppose it can be noticed better up towards the top):
