What did you do with your 4runner today?

I added my Raptor grill lights on my 2007 4Runner.
I was just about to do this mod this weekend, but something came up, so I think I am doing it next weekend.
What lights did you use, and can you take a closer pic or two of how you mounted them to the grille? I am having a hell of a time trying to figure that bit out.

Going to pull my battery cable and see if that works.
Wouldn't you know it, my old Android Galaxy S5 finally gave up the ghost in a snowboard crash Sunday (just found the cracks last night).
So I can't use Torque to pull the codes!!
I have a new iPhone compatible wifi OBD II reader coming Amazon Prime Sunday.
I'm pretty sure it is that gas cap, with the sub zero temps here in Wi.
Could doing donuts on the ice here cause this, making me need a zero point calibration?

You can pull everything but abs codes with torque. I use it all the time. Clear them to

I pulled and cleared codes with Torque, too.
Worked like a charm.
We will see with iOS.
Any apple app rescommedations, let me know.

Picked up my 4th Gen today. These things become addicting. Bought a 2016 for my wife in October, been looking for one for myself ever since. 2004 V8 in great condition.
First things to be taken care of:
Timing belt / Water Pump
New Headlights / tail lights / fogs / turns (I hate oxidation)

Had my rear lights getting some bad condensation so I called up CSI and they shipped me a new light.
I tried CSI out for these rear lights and they are okay. Not as much output as competitors but not terrible. Good quality material and great customer service!

I pretty much followed RockCreek Overlands write up on it. That is for a 5th gen so there were a few small differences but essentially the same.

I used some cold weather zip ties wrapped around the grill and that keeps them super snug. I am explore the option of shaving of the sides of the LED and mounting them behind the grill but for now this works fine.
Please excuse the filthy vehicle. A Chinook just rolled in turning everything to nice salty slush. No point in washing as it's filthy by the time I get home.

Jumped it with the Wagan jump starter. Ran the battery down using the 600w inverter, didn't pay attention to how long I was using it. Thus the jump pack backup. Also had to use the air compressor for a slow leak. Turned out the slow leak was a tire valve loose. I noticed the Firestone airbags come with a tire valve tool on the caps, nice. I'll use it next time.

Thanks for the pics. I was going to follow their write up but I ended up buying some from superbrightleds cause I thought they were the same thing. Not the case. The SBL ones have one of the mounting holes as the ground, basically meaning you need to run the ground through it. They were only like 5 bucks, so I might just say screw it and pick up the general ones on Amazon. Thanks!

Congrats! Sound system was my first upgrade, stock speakers sounded worse than my phone speaker =O What stereo did you end up with?
Also, pretty sure I have the coolest mom...

My new system was very economical. With having a family and all, I couldn't spend tons on a new system. And I can't always listen to it loud like I want to (kid ears must not be damaged, lol). Hubby got me a JVC KW-R925BTS Reciever, a nice replacement over the stock receiver- had no Bluetooth or accessory plug. He also got a sub package- Rockford Fosgate 12" Punch 400 watt sub in a S/O sealed enclosure. Powered by a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D amplifier. A cheap fix for the crap sound I once had. This set up sounds pretty great for the money. I'm happy!

Looks awesome. Swap the taillights for the '06 style and add a winch + lightbar in the bumper and it'll look even better....
