What did you do with your 4runner today?

Icon extended 2.5 resi's up front with total chaos uca's. metal tech long travel rear springs with extended travel icons to match, in the rear(not sure if I'm happy with that set up yet). Metal tech rear upper & lower control arms w/ extended brake lines. RCI skids front to back incl rear differential.
Set of OPOR sliders sitting in my shop waiting to be painted and installed along with arb twin compressor, manifold and arb rear locker.
CBI rear swing out bumper on order. I had them put some custom kick outs on the side so I may not see it until mid march. Have a Baja trip at the end of march so here's to hoping it shows up before then[emoji16]
I picked this V8 t4r w/ 200k up for cheap and its super clean

Nothing out of the ordinary. Time to change my 4Runner's engine & cabin air filters. Since the cabin air filter fits the FJ too, I decided to install the Fram filter instead to my FJ & reinstall my FJ's cabin air filter to the 4Runner. My FJ's cabin air filter is not as dirty as what is the picture.

So my 4Runner got a new engine air filter, and my FJ got a new cabin air filter.

Win win situation.

Purchased some CVJ Axles. :dancin:

I've been running aftermarket Axles for awhile and then snagged some OEM off of a 4R at a salvage yard. Been great but having some popping starting.

Wanted to get these purchased and swapped out while I'm in my current no rent/no mortgage payment situation as that is probably going to be changing in the next couple of months. Renovating a house for a friend and living in it during construction but I'm about finished up with it which im stoked to be done with.


Back on topic, Snagged this picture from [MENTION=91508]wkeryder4[/MENTION]. Top is CVJ and Bottom is OEM.

This reminds me I should make sure my boots were pulled out further before clamped after I rebooted. I feel like they are still at stock distance and rubbing on themselves. They aren't the fancy red boots but same idea will work on stock boots too.

The Line-X looks awesome! If you don't mind me asking....how much can I expect to pay for a similar set up. I have the dreaded bad paint on my fender flares.

Was able to get out of work early and got some work done!

Installed my alley lights but haven't wired yet.

Mounted my sPOD but haven't installed switches yet

Can't wait to get all of those wires cleaned up

And then lastly started to reinstall my Viair Constant Duty air system. No pics. Ran out of sunlight.

The only other options out there going to be even more expensive. Toytec offers some CV axles but they are super expensive, can't remember exactly how much.

These are right along with OEM. They are actually OEM re-manufactured axles to help with higher articulation without binding.

So you get some more bang for your buck for just about the same price as if you were to go to the dealer.

There are RCV axles but they are no longer making them for our models. They couldn't dial them in and couldn't stand by their product any longer. Those were the most expensive but the best out there.
